I am back to give a little update on my project and some thoughts. First before we get an update on the project I want to talk about some thoughts and ideas for the overall project. Previously I’ve been calling the island I am building on Portumus. As much as the name makes sence, I don’t think it goes with the world. I want the island to be a major trading port in a very large sea. It is going to be very rich both monetary and with culture.
I’ve been throwing around some names and its hard to come up with something. I think I will be putting a poll on my twitter for the best island name, but the name will be changing I think.
Some other things I’ve been thinking about is the lore itself. I want to start writing the story around Aeligord and give the world life. I will be writing all of the lore on my site. I probably wont have too much art with it or anything but we will see what I can come up with…
Now on to the project!!
So first off i would like to thank @Dukonred1 for a lot of the inspiration for this build so far. He mentioned I should add foliage to the front of the castle and that’s what I did. I am still working on the planning stages for the rest of the castle and doing some more revising. (it’s taking some time)
The bottom image is also an inspired build from dukon. It is a small cave that leads into a manmade chamber for a dark sorcerer. This is a place someone can learn and practice dark magic without people knowing. It is directly underneath the first gate to the castle and is very well hidden.
I really wanted to and tried to create a replay of all the work i did on the castle today and yesterday. It was around 3 hours worth of building but when I went to create the replay and render it, it crashed every time. I am still working on this mod and trying to figure it out. I am going to try to set up a set time every week to stream as well. Either stream Minecraft or other games I enjoy playing.
Well that’s all I have time for today!!
Check out the rest of the site and let me know what you think!!
